Living colours has over 40 years’ experience in the painting industry founded in the 1980’s by Swedish painter Jan Perrson, we bring adaptations from traditional European style painting and paperhanging with high caliber work standards to Australian homes. We quickly gained a reputation in the higher end of the market for expert advice and impeccable service and built Living Colours largely by referrals alone.

With Jan’s retirement, Morteza (Mori) Mehrabani has now purchased Living Colours Painting and Paperhanging. Mori has been painting for over 20 years and has a vast knowledge and experience of the painting industry. He has been working with Jan as part of the Living Colours team for the past 6 years, further developing his skills in high quality painting techniques under Jan’s guidance and achieving the Australian National Standards. Mori has a keen eye for detail and a special talent for that WOW finish ensuring each job is completed to perfection. His talent, skills and professionalism will ensure you will continue to receive the exceptional Living Colours experience and standard that the company is so proud of.

Does Living Colours do commercial or residential painting?

We specialise in residential homes that needs to be freshened up or repainted. While we mostly work with homes, we have prestigious selection of builders who we’re happy to help, and we work on hotels, offices, and commercial buildings as well.

What sort of paint do you use?

We use only the highest grade premium Dulux paint (unless you specify something particular) as we know this gives the best possible result for our clients, both in terms of appearance and longevity.

Will you meet me onsite to provide ideas and a quote?

We always prefer to visit our clients at their home or workplace, so we can provide them with our expert opinions and a free quote. If meeting you on site isn’t practical, we can also work with detailed plans and designs before giving you a quote.

I’m not sure what colours to choose, can you help?

Living Colours have worked closely with independent colour consultants for many years and trust them to take care of our clientele. Our colour consultants will work with you to understand what you’re hoping to achieve, before suggesting a colour scheme that will suit your home and your tastes.

How long will your workmanship last?

As a Dulux Accredited painter, Living Colours will also provide your project with a professional 5 year warranty, guaranteeing the coating system applied will not peel, flake or blister for a period of five years. If we are using Dulux Premium Weathershield Paint they offer a lifetime guarantee on all work completed.
